AJAX breaking in IE7

ARGH! A note to all AJAX XML programmers: Microsoft has changed their javascript implementation in IE7, and the variable names 'status' and 'error' are now reserved. Thanks Microsoft for NOT documenting this! My AJAX scripts are broken until I fix this (luckily I just have to fix a few places, but still...). I used those names to track the status and error messages back of/from my AJAX requests. I do so love unannounced changes in APIs.

New Phone!

I have a new VX8300 from LG. Very cool, although not having a native BlueTooth sync for Windows is annoying (but my wife's Mac can with iSync [edit: no, actually, it can't, someone posted online that they could and I'm unable to duplicate their experience]!). And BitPim is able to access it (from Windows), so in the end I was able to get my contacts on there.

Yay

Well, we recently had a very good release. Only 2 bugs so far, and very minor ones at that. So things at work are going rather well. I'm getting my new phone tomorrow, the LG VX 8300. Got it primarily for the bluetooth address book syncing (Mac OSX native, BitPim on Windows) and the bluetooth DUN. Don't know if I'll use the DUN yet, but it's nice to have just in case.
