New Car

I GOT A NEW CAR!!! YAAAAY!

Okay, it's a 2005 Toyota Matrix. It's got a sunroof, power steering, AC, remote keyless entry. It's a hatchback. It's got the same engine as Shawn's MR2 Spyder. It's a light blue / silver. It's got a 110V AC converter (good for 's plug in book light). The dashboard lighting is really cool (and very viewable during the day, IMHO). I'll post some pictures at some point.

We're going to go to Boulder today, to enjoy the car. Oh, there is a yarn store thingy up there, but really, it's to enjoy the car. I want to take it into the mountains, too, and see how it handles that. Maybe Georgetown or something.

It costs 500 a month. Ouch. My old car was worth nothing, but they gave me 200 for it, so I carried a 2000 dollar balance. But I can afford it, and still pay grandma, and still have money left over. This whole middle-class experience is frighteningly weird...

Well, gotta go clean up a little, prod the wife (into getting dressed, of course), and enjoy the day!
