The place

Well, we've got almost everything except the last of the books up, and we've got a bookshelf for those, just needs a backing.

The next Harry Potter movie should be out this year, and there's another movie coming out, I forget which one...

The wife's making a tube. She's knitting it. Well, she was, and then she stopped while I tyuped out my journal. Anyways...

Work's going ok, putting together a new database server, but we still need alot of optimizations and all...

Oh, and I *finally* am getting the LCD screen for Shawn's old cell phone, so Kris can decide on one of the phones and I get the other one.

Having looked up recumbent, I can say that I will, shortly, be recumbent, so I will leave it on that entry.
Let's see, it snowed last night. Was actually nicely raining, turned to snow, so after we saw Ella Enchanted (which, by the way, I thought was a rather good movie, but I like simple-to-digest movies right now), we had some Qdoba and then went home. And used the garage. Ha! My car wasn't covered in snow like everyone elses. Hehe. Anyways, because of the snow (~3" or more around here), I didn't go to shul (being as it's rather far from here, and you don't have to go, so I didn't). I did take the wife to the bank for her work, and dropped her back off at her work. Then visited my family, ended up running around all day with them. Picked up kristin, dropped her off at home, with Tony, and then mom and I proceeded to run around some more. Finally, finallly, I'm home and can rest.

Tomorrow, we go have lunch with the Baileys. That reminds me, I've been breaking kosher l'pesach, sadly. I tried to keep passover-kosher at least outside of the house, but I've broken it a number of times, and at this point I'm only keeping it at work. Next year. I'm thinking of trying to go Basic Biblical Kosher (ie. no pork, shellfish, and no cooking meat in milk, but once it's cooked it might be fair game, oh, and poultry, like fish, was listed separately from "meat" in the Torah, so I consider it a separate group. Just because some German (?) Rabbis decided that too many jews were having poultry instead of "meat" on erev shabbes (at which point they decided that poultry was grouped with "meat", even though they are always listed separately, and fish isn't considered "meat"), doesn't mean that *I* have to merge them. So I can have chicken and cheese soup. Or something edible like that. Or something poultry-ish and cheese-ish. Anyways, I think that that system seems pretty simple. No shell fish is EASY for me. I didn't grow up eating fish or any seafood. Tuna in a can from the supermarket is NOT really fish or seafood, but some processed *thing* that resembles it. Kinda. I know, I've recently had tuna steak, and it was rather good. No pork will be harder, but we'll see about subsituting it... And not cooking meat in milk, I don't think I've ever actually done that....

Finally, I'm choosing recumbent for my mood because I have no clue what it means.
